Just reading this line in the beginning of the story was enough to tell me that this book would be different. It is not your typical love story. Sisters who both want the same guy. A guy suddenly torn between them and completely undecided. Betrayal. Unrequited love. Pain and Heartbreak. The joy of a love meant to be.

I immediately fell in love with this story! How many of us have pined over an unrequited love? Lia fell in love with Grayson when she was fourteen. Unfortunately, several years older than her- he saw her as a friend and fell for her older sister. For years, Lia watched Alex (her sister) and Grayson's stormy relationship all the while hiding her own feelings.

Just when she feels that she is finally over it and has recovered somewhat from the pain of this love- who shows up but her sister & Grayson- ENGAGED.. Seriously people, this was a complete WTF moment. Poor Lia, how much more can she take? Imagine everyone's surprise when Grayson finally notices that Lia is no longer the 14yr old tomboy but now a pretty sexy grown woman.

The torment of their attraction, is breathtaking. Lia is pulled between the love she's always felt for him yet not hurting her sister, while Grayson is pulled between his passion for Lia and being the man who doesn't leave but stands firm in a relationship.. Sophie created an amazing story that will stand the test of time. A story of love, desire and the bittersweet joy of finally getting the man of your dreams. Just writing about it, pulls me back in and makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time. I am anxious to see what Sophie comes up with for the next in the series! Be warned- this book is going to cause you to go thru a lot of emotions. Anxiety, betrayal, heartache.. Sometimes there is a second chance, make the most of it when you can!

5+++ Stars! I can't say enough good things about this one! This is one that I must get in paperback for when I need a good emotional release!
