Purex Insider + Me = Giveaways!

I am super excited to announce that I am now a  Purex Insider!!  Yay!

What that means (other than a cool new badge) is that I get the scoop on new Purex products and can share tips & other information with the them.  Now if only I had the cute badge to wear around, I wonder if I could pass my kids off as test subjects?  I'm sorry, they're supposed to be dirty so I can test new products! hmm, that could work.

Anyhoo, back to the whole #PurexInsider thing.


As part of my introduction pack, I received a sample of their newest softener.

 Purex Complete Crystals Softener is unlike any laundry softener you've seen before.

First of all,  it's not a liquid, not a powder- it's Crystals! 

Next, it's 92 % natural and not oil-based like other fabric softeners.Many of us know that you cannot use traditional liquid fabric softeners on your towels because the oily residue left behind can diminish the absorbency of the towel.  This has been a pet peeve of mine for many a year.  Thank you Purex for solving this!  Non-oil based = you can use Purex Complete Crystals Softener on your towels to get great smelling towels that are still absorbent!  Yay!

Another very important point to make is that this is the first major fabric softener that is 100% safe to use on children's sleepwear as it does not impair the flame retardant qualities that are required by the CPSC.  Quite honestly, this is something that I have overlooked in the past and didn't even realize that oil based fabric softeners can impair this by coating it in the oily residue left over.  Eeek!

Purex Complete Crystal Softeners are simple to use, you just toss them in with your laundry (not in the liquid softener area like Daddy Chaos initially tried to do before I shrieked at gently corrected him ).
