How awesome is that?? Having a child on the Autism Spectrum makes this a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I love that these authors have such giving hearts!!Now on with my review ... I admit that I haven't read all of the stories (yet) and so I wanted to focus on Underneath My Christmas Tree by Tawdra Kandle. I got a sneak peek at this one super early and fell in love immediately!
This novella is set in a small town in Florida and if you've read Tawdra's contemporary romances (hello Crystal Cove & Burton friends!) then you've already met many of the characters! I love when stories take us back and give us small glimpses into the current lives of past books! I hate to say too much since it is a short story and I don't want to give away too much!!
This is the beginning of Trent & Elizabeth's story. When a busy day at work is interrupted by a demand to move her car, Elizabeth & Trent's first meeting doesn't get off on the right foot. It may take a few tries for them each to realize that the other one is not snobby or rude but when they finally get together - whew sparks will fly!! My only disappointment (which was very short-lived) was that it ended. No worries, my friends - I have it on good authority that Elizabeth & Trent's full story will be out early next year!
I can't wait to read the other stories!!
