During one of Molly’s weekly meet-ups with her girls at their regular bar, Molly succumbs to the duress of her two best friends and begins the aggressive dating they sign her up for online where the pairings are questionable... and dangerous. They’ve entered her in an evening of speed dating. But at the end of the evening she finds an item from her past that raises questions, grief... and danger. When the number of deaths surpass Molly’s goodnight kisses, her past pushes into the present and Molly loses much more than she gains. Is Molly doomed to a life of singledom wrapped in fear - or will the stalker turn on her

I clenched my fingers until the nails bit into the meaty mass of my palm.
Brad’s eyes opened and he smiled when he saw me. Of course, I couldn’t help but smile back, the disappearing tension allowed my grip to release. His hand sought mine under the blankets and he squeezed. “Mornin’.”
“Morning.” I hope I didn’t have morning breath. That kind of intimacy so early on in our relationship would kill us faster than any stalker could.
We hadn’t had any alcohol the night before.
I’d been tempted to throw him over my metaphorical shoulder and run screaming to the bedroom. Oh, man, I’d been tempted. Brad belongs on a dessert tray when he walks across the carpet in a pair of silky shorts and a white tee.
“Looks like it’s raining. Want to just hang out today?” Concern pulled his eyebrows together. “I need to go into the bar tonight, but I can get off early, if you need me to?”
The last thing I wanted to do was come off as incompetent and incapable. Weak. Okay, there were a few things I didn’t want to be, but they all ran along the lines of I didn’t want him to think I couldn’t handle anything. Because I could… and had. Even if I did sound weak all the damn time.
