Character Interview with Chloe
Chloe is the heroine of TRUSTING LOVE in which she is running from an abusive relationship and finding the strength in herself to make a better life.1. What is your most treasured possession?
Chloe: My picture of my mom and dad
2. What is your greatest fear?
Chloe: That I will never have the strength to get my life together and provide a warm
and happy household for my child.
3. What living person do you most despise?
Chloe : My ex, Tony.
4. Where would you like to live?
Chloe: Near the ocean. The sound of the waves is so calming to me. To be able to
walk the beach every morning would be the ultimate.
5. What quality do you most like in a man?
Chloe: Family orientation. A man that puts his family first before anything else,
regardless of the tough times that come along.
6. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Chloe: My lack of self confidence.
7. On what occasions do you lie?
Chloe: I try not to lie, but I will omit the truth if I feel the truth will put me in
danger.
8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Chloe: Self confidence. I wish I had the confidence to let the bad times roll off me
and just go in stride, instead of always thinking I can't do anything to make
changes.
9. How do you decide if you can trust someone?
Chloe: I typically am a very distrusting person. Because of my childhood of
going from foster home to foster home, and being involved in an abusive
relationship, it is very difficult for me to trust someone. For me, even if the
person wasn't the one that broke my trust, they need to earn trust from me.
10. Describe your ideal mate.
Chloe: Is there an ideal mate? I'm not sure, but I would want someone that was
family-oriented. One that treated me with respect and embraced my flaws to
love me unconditionally. The ideal man would make me a priority in his life.
11. What are you most afraid of?
Chloe: At this point, it is my ex, Tony. I'm afraid he will find me and the
consequences of leaving him could be deadly. But I'm also afraid of letting go of
my insecurities and allowing myself to love Jayden for the man he is and the
woman he makes me believe I can be.
Emma Leigh Reed has lived in New Hampshire all her life. She has fond memories of the Maine coastline and incorporates the ocean into all her books. She lives in a small town with her three children, although now it is mostly her and her Springer Spaniel to keep her company as empty-nesting has started. Her life has been touched and changed by her son's autism - she views life through a very different lens than before he was born. Growing up as an avid reader, it was only natural for Emma Leigh to turn to creating the stories for others to enjoy.
