1. Tell us a little bit about your book.
Sixteen-year-old Aislinn Lee Murphy accidentally unleashes her hidden ability to see things before they happen, making her a Visionary. But little does she know that this amazing gift comes with a severe price. She must never tell a soul or she risks putting herself and her family in great peril.A Visionary is someone who has been chosen to see the future and has the benefit of having spirit animals to guide and protect them, but there is a secret agency whose sole purpose is to terminate all Visionaries and Aislinn has become their next target.
2. What inspired you to write this story?
I basically had this idea of combining super natural powers with spirit animals and out popped the Visionary Trilogy!I also have this fascination with red-tailed hawks and that was one of my inspirations for Visionary-Unleashed. Once I started writing, the characters kept dancing in my head.
3. What is the main lesson that your book is trying to teach?
That animals, nature, and people are all connected in some way so we should respect nature and all of its beautiful qualities.
4. Moving on to your
writing career, how long have you been writing? Did you always dream to become
an author?
This is my first book. My interest in reading/writing didn’t come until my early 20’s. I have had many inspirations but never enough time to write them all down.
5. I’m always curious whether or not authors read the same types of books that they write. So tell us, what book genres do you love to read? to write?
I love many different genres depending on my mood. I enjoy reading young adult novels, some romance, and many others including books that I read to my children. But I would probably say that I enjoy young adult most of all and that also happens to be what I write.

6. What are you
reading right now?
I am reading Divergent by Veronica Roth. I am captivated by it!
7. Have any particular authors inspired you to write? If so, can you name one and what you like about their style?
I enjoy books that take me to a different place. Some authors that I have been inspired by are Suzanne Collins, Ken Follet, and Nicholas Cage to name a few.
8. Do you have any upcoming projects?
Book 2 and Book 3 of the Visionary Trilogy.
