My Thoughts:

C I N is one of those books that keeps twisting and turning. Just when you think you've figured it out, the author throws a new secret at you and you're left reeling with the news.  I was sucked into it and had quite a few times when I argued with my phone (reading it on my kindle app) while my family looked at me like I was crazy.  Just when you think Lisa's life can't get any worse (dad gone, mom dumped her while she went to the looney bin) she's thrust into this world of secrets and mysterious powers.  Everyone seems to have a secret. I am definitely recommending this one to my teens!

Traitor

by Christina Pritchard

Publication Date: July 12, 2012

Genre: YA

Synopsis:

Lisa thinks she knows everything about her new life. She can deal with the boundaries and even being torn away from her family. But Alex withheld more than she ever expected. Like, what happens when you lose control? How about when you begin to realize just how trapped you are? He leaves out a lot of stuff about himself too. He doesn’t mention the dangers of some of the others—or of what she herself can do…

My Thoughts:

I had a hard time putting down the first in the series. C I N  left me with more questions than answers.  I was thrilled to start Traitor immediately afterwards.  Book 2 in the C I N series was just as good as the first!  It was full of back story to help answers so of the questions that were pestering me from book 1.  However, it threw just as many new questions as me.  Christina did a good job of keeping me running in circles along with Lisa trying to figure out who to trust and what was real.  I am looking forward to reading more of this series.  In fact, I'm looking forward to re-reading books 1 & 2 to see if I can suck any more information out of them that I might of somehow missed the first time! lol!
